A timeshare resort on Lake Chelan, WA, and a place people return to for decades.
What is Wapato Point?
Wapato Point Resort sits at the tip of a peninsula in Manson Bay on Lake Chelan, about 38 miles northwest of Wenatchee in central Washington. The resort spans five distinct condo villages, each with its own character, management company, and check-in schedule.
The condos are timeshare units, meaning individual owners hold the right to use a specific unit (or float within a pool of units) for one week per year. When owners can't use their week, they often rent it directly to vacationers, which is exactly what this site exists to facilitate.
Weeks run from the village's designated check-in day to the same day the following week. Each village has its own check-in and check-out times.
Beyond the timeshare condos, the surrounding residential neighborhoods (Halmalka, Ponderosa, The Point at Wapato, and Yacinde) include privately owned vacation homes. Some owners rent those out by the night rather than the week. LakeChelanStays lists both: condo weeks and whole homes.
The 5 villages
Beach Village
The resort's most popular village, perched on the southern tip of Wapato Point where Manson Bay meets Lake Chelan. Units on the Manson Bay side offer calm-water views; Chelan-side units face the open lake. Steps from the sandy beach and seasonal snack shack.
Lakeside Village
Set at the center of the resort along Manson Bay, Lakeside offers sweeping 180° water views from generous balconies. With just two buildings, it's a quiet corner close to the main clubhouse and indoor pool.
Tennis Village
A peaceful inland retreat near the resort's tennis courts and recreation area. Comfortable and well-appointed, great for families who spend more time on the courts and at the beach than staring at a view.
Lodge Village
The resort's central hub, surrounded by amenities and steps from both the indoor pool and an exclusive outdoor pool. All Lodge units were fully remodeled in 2024.
Nekquelekin Village
Perched on scenic hills above the Lake Chelan side, Nekquelekin ("neh-KWELL-eh-kin") offers elevated lake and valley views. The hilltop location means cooler evenings, and each cluster has its own private village pool.

Different villages are managed by different companies. Before completing any rental arrangement, we recommend contacting the management company for your village to confirm the owner's right to rent.

LakeChelanStays is an independent community marketplace run by Wapato Point owners, for Wapato Point owners and renters. We are not affiliated with Wapato Point Management Company, Point Forward Hospitality, or any other resort management entity.
We do not verify ownership. Listings are self-posted by owners and verified only via email confirmation. For a condo week, call the village management company to confirm the person renting to you holds that week. A private home has no resort management to check with, so pay only with a method that has buyer protection and get a written agreement. Either way, verify before sending money.
